And we're off...

to Huntsville that is!

We went and visited our friends in Huntsville today! It was so much fun to get away if only for the day. Peanut loves her buddies up there and we love our friends up there!

Peanut went to bed last night feeling a little ill and woke up this morning and seemed fine. We headed out and arrived up there right around lunch time. Mr. Tree (as Peanut calls him) had made some yummy Kalua Pig (if you have never had this it's fabulous). We ate and the kiddos played. The girls went shopping and left the kiddos with the Daddy's. We hit Target first and I got The Little Mermaid and some really cute shirts.

After we left Target we hit Goody's. Goody's is going out of business so we thought we could catch some things on sale. I got one pair of my absolute favorite Levi jeans for only $17! JACKPOT! (And yes they really do seem to slim you!)

Anywho, that's about it for now. We are tired and need to hit the sheets so we can get up and at 'em for church tomorrow!

Life as I know it...For the Moment at Least!

I'm K Mommy. I live in the south and will probably use "y'all" more than I should. (Sorry in advance.) I am a Stay-At-Home Mommy with a very active daughter to keep me entertained. When I do manage to find a few minutes I have a bazillion hobbies to keep me occupied (that's a whole other post). On occasion I find time to read and enjoy every second of it. (Notice I said "second"...I don't have too much time to read.) I am a Christian and love our church so much. I love knowing that He is always there and will love me no matter what! How awesome is that?

I am married to Hubby. We have been married for going on 5 years now...5 years in May as a matter of fact. I love him with all of my heart. He is my best friend and I am so grateful for him. He is such a wonderful husband and father. He is such a hard worker and provides solely for our family so that I can be able to stay at home with our daughter, Peanut.

Speaking of Peanut. She is our fabulously wonderful daughter. She is the light of our lives and we love her with every breath we have. She is cause for many a laugh around our house and more than our fair share of frustrations. She is stubborn and strong willed and yet she is loving, kind and is the sweetest child you will ever meet. She is witty and wise beyond her years at the ripe old age of 2! She is our blonde-haired, blue-eyed beauty (and a monkey to boot)! She truly is a blessing from God.

I am really excited about this blog. I have big hopes and dreams for it. I want it to be a way for family and friends to keep up with our lives...a way to share the blessings God has given us...a place for me to write about what's important to me (even if only for that moment).
