Hopefully after today I will have some blog material...it is, after all, my birthday...and...Ava starts dance tonight!!! YAY!!! I can't wait!

Land Of The Living

My last post title should have been "All In A Week's Work". Man am I exhausted! Ava started this mess...then Matt and I ended up with it (Matt worse off than me).

Anyway...we are on our way back to the land of the living...this week is a busy one for us...it's my birthday week and Ava starts dance this week. I will post all about it afterwards. Until then, I am going to rest.

All In A Days Work

What makes you feel better when you're sick than breakfast, lunch AND dinner all cuddled up in Mommy and Daddy's bed? I can't think of anything...

Ignore the nakedness...she's been this way for days as it makes for easy throwage put-age (like that word?) in the bath tub to bring down the fevers. We've had a fabulous few days. And to be honest...I'm tired...but I wouldn't have it any other way.

On a sidenote...Matt called and said he isn't feeling swooft either...how could one woman be so lucky?

Alrighty...I'm off to spray some lysol...and will my self to stay well...hey, someone has to stay well to take care of all the sicklies around here...

Things I Love

Awhile back I wrote this post about things that I loved...and I thought it was high-time that I did another one...so here we go...
Chips and Salsa-need I say more? I could eat this EVERYDAY!!! Seriously...If I make a batch I will eat some everyday. Here is the recipe I use...try it and enjoy!

Sewing-I love to sew and I especially love it now that all my sewing stuff is on the main living area of my house! This is the latest pillowcase dress I've made for Ava. I made the flip flops too!
Sonic-I love me some Sonic Cherry Limeade (and the Apple Limeade too!). Yummy! Ava even enjoys sharing one with me!

My New Bible-I love my new Bible. Ava and Matt got it for me for Mother's Day this year. I absolutely love it. Although, last night at Bible Study I proclaimed that my Bible had lost a few books because my pages are still kinda sticking together. Click Here to check out all the details...

They Don't Know

What's wrong with Ava? She's been sick for the last 4, er 5 days now...fevers and lots of coughing...so I took her to the doctor yesterday and she has some sort of viral something or another....which translates to me that they don't know so let's just call it viral. Oh well, at least it isn't strep. I'm gonna go now and rest my eyes while Ava rests hers.

I Love My Life

I have been feeling a bit down lately. I'm a passive person therefore I avoid conflict and don't voice what I am thinking or feeling. (I'm a work in progress guys...) Anyway, there's a lot going on in my life right now that has me down...but I am working at correcting those issues with my families best interest at heart.

There are quite a few things I am so excited about the potential for us that I am just busting at the seams. (No, we aren't having another baby right now...Ava is enough.) There are a lot of changes headed our way and I just can't wait to see God's plan worked out through our lives. Pray with me guys! I need the encouragement as some of these decisions could prove to be rather hard ones.

Now...I say all of that to say this...I love my life. I am blessed beyond measure with great family and friends. I have one of the best husbands in the world. He is so supportive of his crazy wife. I have one spunky daughter who can always bring a smile to my face. No matter what my day brings...I have these wonderful people in my life to help cheer me. Not to mention I have all you bloggy buddies rooting me on.

Anyway...today's post is kinda random...sorry...having a hard time making things sound coherent. So, how about some pictures of my soon to be dancer? YES! We signed up for dance this week!

Ay Carumba

Ava just learned to say ay carumba. It cracks me up how she says it. It's like she is saying "I" carumba. Anyway yesterday afternoon she was saying it and then looked at me and said "Momma, do you carumba?" too funny that child is!!!

Date Night

Hi guys! Sorry for the missing posts...our Anti-virus expired and I have been to busy to renew...so that meant no turning on of the computer. But I'm back!!!

Last night Matt and I had date night. Ava spent the night with my Mom and Dad. I received some beautiful flowers and treated to dinner. We headed out to Surin 280! Yummy yummy!

This is the Yummy Sushi that we had. It was called "Super Crunch". It's smoked salmon on the outside, then rice, seaweed and finally some kind of crispy rice coated in a sauce...Yummo!

And just when we thought it couldn't get any better...I ordered the Nom Tuk Beef and Matt got the Spicy Beef Noodles. Both were fabulous but we both agreed that mine was better. If you ever get the chance to go, try it!
